About Me

lilith: This blog will become an online journal of my progression as an artist throughout my course MFA at UWIC, it and beyond, it will show my progression of work, ideas and influences, and also how I begin to recognise the other agencies that will help me to become more established in my practice, and how I go on to position myself in context of other artist. My work is portraiture, I paint the faces of those important to me, some no longer here, some faces of people met through travel, it is the face that interests me and my work often begins with a photograph and I will translate this into painting, mainly oil paint.
